The construction is top grade, actually built by Hatteras Yachts, both companies at the time under the Genmar corporate umbrella, and Trojan used the resources of Hatteras' High Point, NC facility to produce this particular model.
Powered by Caterpillar 3126 diesels with ZF gears, abpout 1,200 hours, the boat has a top speed of 33 MPH and most efficient cruise at 22 MPG consuming about 1 gallon of fuel per mile, which is not bad for a 14 ton boat riding up on plane.
