Private Client Services
Often folks with comfortable lives surrounded by nice things like to maintain a low or invisible profile for one reason or another, really nobody else's business as to why, and are reluctant to have their intentions or actions known to the public. They don't want people to know what they own, what they are buying or what they are selling, which can often make all three difficult to accomplish.
Sure, if a buyer is to willing to pay a certain sum one might sell something they enjoy and do without, or get something else, there is almost always a price, but barring an immediate need such sellers are not interested in having photos of their private property blooming everywhere and forever on the internet, or being subjected to a conga line of unqualified or insincere buyers invading their space or wasting their time.
By the same token certain buyers may prefer anonymous, indirect, tax advantaged or exposure limited ownership or interests in their acquisitions, often entrusting the structure of these transactions to financial or legal counsel with the actual selection and qualification of the asset itself aided by subject matter experts such as captains, pilots, and even capable, experienced brokers.
How do either of these people sell something not offered to the public at large, or find something they desire not known to be available? As with so many other aspects of their personal lives, they delegate such tasks to trusted, discreet professionals, those who understand and respect their needs and concerns, anonymity their trade craft, silence their native tongue, when not above or beyond the system they are invisible within it, known only as "they" or "them", they are... Private Client Brokers.
Private Client Brokers are not just about items for sale and those wanting them, they are part of the community. They know what is not for sale, who is not in the market, as well what might be for sale and who might be interested in it, through an extensive intelligence network of facility owners and operators, professional services, satisfied customers and of course other brokers. They know what is going on because they keep their eyes and ears open and their mouths shut.
Private Client sellers have things are are available only at the right time, at the right price or terms and yes, sometimes only to the right people, it's not always just about the money. Generally their listings are not advertised to the public, they are only disclosed or accessible by permission of the seller and further at the discretion of the broker.
Private Client buyers are real, identified and qualified people, often HNWI, usually working with their consultant under a Buyer Representation Agreement. They are not merely a working email address or phone number, most are personally known to the consultant, often for years, referred by other Private Client buyers or sellers, or have applied and been accepted after suitable vetting including financial disclosure akin to qualified investor status.
It is only in the circumstances where the seller, his offering and the buyer are likely to be a good fit that the broker will arrange for the trio to become acquainted, thus the Private Client Broker essentially functions as a high end dating service, assuring that privacy is protected and time or effort not wasted by buyers and sellers alike.
